“DOVREGUBBEN SWING” reimagines Grieg’s well-known “In the hall of the mountain king” as a swing chart for developing jazz band. It can be performed with an optional accelerando from bar 25 to the end, to add excitement and momentum towards the piece’s conclusion, reflecting the intensity of Grieg’s original work.
