Released in 2009, “PLANTS VS. ZOMBIES” is a tower-defence game in which players use an increasingly imaginative collection of plants to defend their home from waves of zombies. Its music, composed by Laura Shigihara, is an important part of the game’s distinctive character, combining catchy melodies with contrasting moods and playful musical ideas. This suite brings together three themes from the original game: Intro Theme, Watery Graves, and Loonboon. Together, they showcase the variety of Shigihara’s writing, from the cheerful and instantly recognisable opening music, through the atmospheric Watery Graves, to the energetic Loonboon.
